The biblical account reveals that Saul, consumed by his own ambitions, overlooked the spiritual implications of his role as king. The Ark, which represents the presence of God among God’s people, remained in obscurity in a place called Kirjath Jearim for 20 years. The nation lamented the absence of the Lord’s presence. “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒌 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑲𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒉-𝒋𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆—𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒚 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒍.
